All I know is that Seattle just dominated a team that beat the Bears fairly handily on their home field last week.

They lost by a touchdown and were driving at the end of the quarter.

Me neither. I didn't actually pick the wild card games other than in my head (which I can't remember), but I pretty much consider myself going ofer in the playoffs.

I think the winner of the Super Bowl will be whoever I pick against.

Hey Marco....you want a good laugh?? Go find a Steelers Messageboard on the Internet - every last team that the Seahawks play this year talks about how the Seahawks played a weak schedule and STILL haven't played anybody.....I mean, what joke - I can honestly see people, if we beat Pittsburgh in 2 weeks saying that the Steelers were tired and thus the Hawks were gifted the Lombardi trophy - it has been like this all year.

BTW, I'm hoarse and half deaf with my ears ringing from being at the game - it was just incredible - especially after some of the turnovers.

What did the announcers have to say about that picked up flag on the return and the 15 yard unsportsmanlike conduct when our guy basically pulled up?

Yeah, I'm seeing a lot of "Steelers will win by double digits" talk already---we'll see.

Qwest looked like it was rocking today. The announcers (and I) thought that picked up flag on the illegal block was complete BS---Seattle was called for one earlier that was less flagrant; the roughing call was ticky tack, but I can't argue so much with it.

I like our chances if we play as well as we did today.

The only thing going through my mind as I watched that game was, "Why the fuck wouldn't the Bears double-team Smith?"

And good news for you two, I'm leaning towards the Steelers winning. That makes Seattle a virtual lock with my luck with picks this year.

We did aight, eh?

I'm pulling for Pittsburgh in the SB. (Hines is my favorite non-Falc, plus Verron. Also, Troy Palamalu is one of the most fun guys to watch play D in a long time. Bettis is also a good story.)

I think Seattle will give them a great game though. I've been talking about how good/underrated their defense is for weeks and obviously that offense can score points on anybody.

Hopefully, it will be a good game b/c yesterday SUCKED. NFC/AFC Championship Sunday is usually my favorite day of football and those games were not too great.

Yeah, can't wait for the 27 puff pieces on the story during the 13 hour pregame show.

How amazing is it that his parents have gone to every game he's ever played?

BTW, big ups to the Denver fan that they showed congratulating Bettis' father as they left their seats. Class.

Between that and the LOUD crowd in Seattle that didnt look like reprobates who will spit on you, boo Santa, and throw rocks---it was nice to see a classy city host an NFC Championship game.....

Sorry Philly, that was a cheap pop......Image

The best was in Dallas, when the Vikes were in ('76, '77, maybe '78?). They set Santa on fire.

Glad the Seahawks made it. They have been sort of my adopted team for several years for their tendency to draft and start former UGA players. Not so many are on the team now, save Mack Strong. I finally have someone to root for in the Superbowl.

You could be a Bengals fan...

I think I need the Steelers to win, and then I might have a chance to win some cashola in my pool.

Don't forget about this guy, he won a couple of games at Georgia:

I mean, if Hasselback and Seneca Wallace go down, the 'Hawks Superbowl hopes lie here.

Was anyone else a little embarassed for Hasselbeck when Terry Bradshaw ripped off his hat and compared bald heads? The guy is obviously self-conscious about it, any interview I've seen with him he's got some kind of hat on. He even shaved his head the rest of the way.

Not to defend the man, but they are playing the Steelers so Bradshaw is gonna take his digs, I would think that to be natural....its not like Terry Fucking Bradshaw has any integrity.
