I liked the last album, but it so affected me in the flashback realm mor than the "this sounds great!" realm.

the Ghosts & Goblins song still is a bit too close to home for me..

I have no excuse for this, other than I'm pretty sure if I put one more program on my PC it will just explode.

This advantage album is head & shoulders better than their last one. Much tighter this time around. Anything Mega Man, G&G and Castlevania is OK with me. Best track is Moon from Duck Tales, however.

The emo group Ozma used to do a couple of old video game covers.

I know they released the Tetris theme on one of their albums, but I'm pretty sure they played Super Mario Bros. Level 2 live too.

In between the releases of the green album and Maladroit, I'd say yes.

I saw them twice live in that time period. Once with Ozma and Saves The Day. Once with Dashboard Confessional.

So I'd emo them off simply based on their surroundings.

I haven't heard the above album yet so you can obviously yell "shenanigan" at any point, but I'm sick of people thinking its funny to do Nintendo game covers. If I wanted the music I would dl the midi file. Can someone explain the draw? Shouldn't the only bands that do this be Reel Big Fish and Trent Reznor occassionally doing the Zelda theme?
