I'm trying to remember, but I think when we went to that Phish thing up in Maine, we didnt shower the whole time and all told that was a seven day car/camping trip.....Probably should have just gone to a carwash at that point.

A couple 4 day stretches during a month+ long cross country car/camping trip though its easy to freshen up in convenience stores.

Camping trips....yeah, some days.

Not sure how long I could go now. I do occasionally skip a day on the weekends though.......

3 days - camping

Pretty rare these days that I skip a day.

I usually shower about once every other day unless I'm exercising regularly

Psh, showering every day isn't necessary. Even the guys from Queer Eye said that you don't have to shampoo your hair every day, that the natural oils are good for it.

if this thread were about shampooing, that'd be different. i'd never shampoo a shampooer. i just think a daily shower feels good.

do you take all of the queer eye advice?

Yeah, something about living with a lady that promotes that.

BTW, my guess is that you missed at least 3 days a time or two when we lived at Pluma. Nasty nigga.

guys, I've heard people over in Europe shower like twice a week. Just because it's customary to shower every day here doesn't mean it's necessary. It's not like I'm rolling around in my own filth or anything. I'm getting out of bed, putting on clothes, going to work, and then going home.

I just tend to trust a gay man when it comes to hygiene.

I go 3 days without showering like once a month at least. Unless I'm sweating heavily, rolling in mud or grease, or reek of booze, I tend not to feel like I need a shower. If I work in the coffee shop I shower immediately, what with all the spilled milk and such.

wash my hair about twice a week.

the longest I've gone? I dunno I never really kept track.

I usually can't go more than a day or two without feeling disgusted with myself. The shame!

a couple of days. i am the type of person who must shower first thing in the morning. mainly due to the fact that my hair is extremely oily and i can't take it for more than a few minutes.

I usually shower everyday on the weekdays but will slack off a little on the weekends. Sundays are my days where I usually don't shower. Too lazy to.

But I don't think I've gone longer than 3 or 4 days without showering and that one time was when I was in the hospital for a few days.

3 days and only because there was a snowstorm at the airport and my flight got delayed an extra day. I stayed at the lounge for what seemed like an eternity. God I hate snow.

If I'm not riding my bike to work I'll cheerfully skip a day fairly often. Longest must be sometime in 1997 - I was living out of the back of a van with two other people, travelling around NZ. We washed our dishes in puddles and when we got to cities used the public showers, with occassional nights in hostels when things got too grubby. Good times.

Thoes were the days.

My dog just does it now.
