the safeness of my area holds true again, with there being only 8 that are in the furthest zoomed out map. that's in idyllic long island suburbia though, i'll check on nashville in a second.
edit
nashville goes up to 197 with actually only 1 very close to my place there.

On zoom level one there are 10 children predators near my home with 20 offenders total. On zoom level five there are like 517. I hate my town.

What are the distances for the different zoom levels?

Zoom level 5 (widest shot) seemed like about 10 miles from me.

That site freezes up before the map fills in on my addy, but not before telling me that there are 1072 sex offenders in their database at wide angle zoom.

MD sex offender site says only 102 in my immediate area, 78 kiddie rapists (and kiddie flashers, I guess, a few of them are 4th degree offenses, which I imagine don't involve actually feeling up a child - though maybe they just had expensive lawyers), 21 classed as 'violent predators'. Awesome.

I'm only posting pictures of folks listed as 'Absconders', so you see the asshole, call 911. Hell, there's so many I'm skipping third and fourth degree offenses.
