I bought some 1% milk because it tastes better than skim, and my mom got concerned because it actually has fat in it (oh no!).

She recommend that I mix the skim milk she usually buys with my 1% milk to dilute the fat content. :huh:

I used to drink 2% and 1% growing up, but switched over to skim in college. I know it sounds trite, but you do get used to it after a while. Now whenever I drink 1%, it's too thick for my tastes.

I'm not fat, but I'm not exactly in shape.

The point is that 2.5 grams of fat per serving is like a drop in a bucket. I mean, you do need some fat in your diet.

I grew up drinking nothing but whole. Everything else is just white water. I drink soy now because I need the thickness.

Just like diet coke, I could NEVER get used to that. I can handle 1%, but I would rather go water on my cereal than skim.
