speaking of bar pet peeves.
i have two bartender friends. One is named Guy and the other is named Buddy.

i always have to explain to friends that i'm not being an asshole when i call them by name.

is this because you may not get a lot of them?

On a similar note, I hate how people think every line in a movie is quotable. One of my coworkers quoted something like "that's good" from some movie he'd seen recently. Just completely meaningless, nothing that had any weight to it in the movie at all. Quotes are supposed to be something special, not just a piece of random dialogue. But I find this happening a lot - people seem to just want something quotable out of everything now, even if it's basically nothing. I get annoyed just thinking about it.

-Groups of people singing off key to shitty songs in shitty bars while they drink shitty beer...so shitty
-chicks who don't swallow
-Tim Borneman from AAM
-Hillary from Planetary Group
-When you stay at someone's house and they won't keep their goddamn pet in line even though you've obviously mentioned that you're scared of large animals.
-People who baby talk to animals...quit treating them like retarded 2 year olds.

true... plus when people bring their small children over with my dogs running about... (a) my dogs are probably more scared of your unpredictable kid and his movements than the kid is of them, and (b) you're teaching your child to be afraid of animals.

dude, when they're jumping on you in the middle of the night and eating your clothes...there's a problem.

I'm not afraid of all of them...just the large, obnoxious, bitey ones.

You realize that they only charge like $5 to park in the lot behind the video store across the street right?

Today I was driving behind someone who had their windshield wipers on full speed for a slight drizzle. That kind of annoyed me.

I want to upload the Daniel Clowes comic "I Hate You Deeply". It pretty much sums up everything I hate about everybody.

Maybe I'll scan it tomorrow.

i know that... but this was for overnight parking, not for a show. i'm currently staying at my best friend's house until the 1st. she lives around the corner from the el rey, and my new job is really close. last night imogen heap was playing, and i was trying to find parking... i was driving around for at least 45 minutes.

not to mention, the tons of parking tickets i've acquired over the past couple of months. *sigh*

Seriously. This is the worst. And those first 2 describe someone I currently know. When you meet enough people like this, it almost makes you wanna be a loner.

right now the people who can't admit when they're wrong is REALLY getting to me - one person in particular...

also let me add to my list:
-being caught in the middle of stupid shit when i tell them to leave me out of their petty drama
-people who are LATE. EVERY SINGLE FUCKING TIME
-people who feel that they are "entitled" or you "owe" them
-people who diss their friends for a significant other
-high-maintenance chicks
-inconsiderate people
-flakes

holy hell i need new friends... man i could write a whole book on just one person i know who drives me absolutely insane with all the inane things she does.

I just thought of a big one. I can't STAND when people say "try and" instead of "try to."

As in, "I'm going to try and do...."
