seriously! you people realize this show is free, right?
that's a terrible argument to no criticize a show.

i was kind of joking, but I can also think of much worse. it just seems like every week there's like the same 8 people just bitching about how bad the episode is and the point is why bother watching it.

Yeah, I think Sun's dad and Jack's dad are going to wind up having something to do with the Project. I think they're more important to the show that it appears.

Jack did see his father on the island twice, didn't he? And there's also the theory that the mysterious financier of the Dharma project (glimpsed in the training film) is Locke's kidney-thievin' daddy.

They're on the island and in the comic book. Plus they appear connected to Walt.

I'm with Cotton. Too much bitchin' over minor flaws. I thought it was another quality episode -- especially that last line at the end. The Jackstory wasn't great, but that Gabriella chick was hott enough to make it worthwhile.

i think the only thing that sucks about the show is how long them make us wait for it.

This continues to be the highlight of our week here at Chez Squirrgle. Sister in law comes over, everyone grabs a beer and shuts the hell up.

Quick theory my wife and I just came up with: Libby is connected to the Dharma project and is a spy among the survivors. As we saw in the preview this week, Hurley asks her if he knows her from somewhere. We're probably supposed to assume it's a pickup line, but remember her mentioning multiple times when we first met her that she was a psychologist, and remember that one of the things the Hanso foundation does is psychology experiments. Add in that Hurley was in an institution, which is where he heard the numbers, and that if Libby is a psychologist it's entirely possible that she was a psychologist where Hurley was staying - and passed the numbers on to his friend, who mumbled them to him.

Of course, they may just want us to think that.

That's not a bad actually. I think there may something to the Libby/infiltrate idea particularly with the psychology background, but I thought the guy (Lenny?) who was mumbling the numbers was one of the sailors who first heard them which led Hurley to go to Australia?

How many episodes did you miss?

I can't recall who gave Walt the comic (it was a Spanish language so I think it was Hurley who gave it to him actually..when they were boarding the plane), but certain pages depicted a domed ecosystem in the middle of nowhere with a large structure protruding from the center and the other is a polar bear with green vegetation in the background.

I have no idea, because of the irregularity of their scheduling. I guess I missed a few this season, at the beginning.

This dates back to the first season - go ahead and rent it, you won't be disappointed.

Damn, reading that shit is no fun. I like Colin's idea better. Now that I have inherited a DVD player, I might just follow his suggestion.

Yeah, I think Libby is totally a spy, but they did already explain how Hurley heard the numbers, from who, and how that guy heard them to begin with. I don't remember exactly, but it had to do with monitoring radio transmissions in the South Pacific or something like that.

I'm glad Locke's getting enigmatic and slightly creepy again. He was getting outplayed in that department by Eko.

Not too bad, I liked the more malevolent Locke in this episode. I wish there was more overall plot development though; I suppose all this baptism/danger talk is leading somewhere.

Last week's episode was way better than this one, though this one was still good.

I think the gameplan is to eventually show how every cast member is a nutjob. Tonight was Charlie's turn.

charlie episodes are the worst. he should kill locke for taking everything away from him and for being bald and looking like Herr Starr and then break both of his legs and make him el-cripplo again.
