Yeah - cleaning out my room, have a couple hundred CDs I want to sell... I'm trying to figure out a way not to do it at Amoeba so that this doesn't happen to me...

ahhh so you did make it to fingerprints! nice! it's not too shabby for a small store right? it ain't no amoeba... but i like shopping there since it's closer to my house and it's not as crowded. plus, the people who work there are helpful and not snobby like those that work at amoeba.

when ya coming back in the summer?

Send them to yourself, the day before you leave. Make sure the return address is your address, as well (which is legal, since you're the one sending them, plus they only care if you owe postage).

Soo glad to have finally met you, Dov! Thank you for being understanding the night of the Warlocks gig. Thanks to Dri for taking you back to your hotel. My apologies if I wasn't very chatty last night -- but I look forward to your next visit!

I think your math was wrong. It should be:

Nothingface + Amoeba + Credit Cards = We have a problem!

Hell of the Living Dead - DVD $7.99

Hee hee...I picked this up last year - every bit as horrible as I remembered from seeing it at the Parsons Drive-In when I was 17. My DVD also has the movie "Rats" on it.

Hah. I looked for that version but couldnt find it..

Tuesday night, I went to a grindhouse film festival that they have once a month here...

hell of the living dead was one of the flicks that they showed...although it went by the title 'night of the zombies'. it was sooooo cheesy, I had to own it.

Definitely one of those "If I Ever See This On Amazon For $3.99..." purchases.

Upon watching the DVD a few months ago, I couldn't believe I had the line "Didn't you see the look in his eyes as he ate his father's flesh?" accurately ingrained in my noggin all those years.

No, the title's right, you just have to read the right side of the equation as one, only one (and nothing but the one) thing. Here, let me add a judicious bit of punctuation, and it'll make things clearer:

(ahem)

Nothingface + Amoeba = "Credit Cards, we have a problem!"

It's the first sentence in a very long and drawn out (and painful!) exchange, between Nothingface and his credit cards. He's addressing them. As in, "hello, wallet, please barf some money to this nice clerk here." (proceed to make retching noises to the amusement of the cute clerk)
