Some less obvious CDs that I almost always run across:

John Cale - "Walking on Locusts"
Husker Du - "The Living End"

Yeah.. the way I got my copy of Monster by REM was at a thrift store for a dollar.
It's always used though.
You can usually find a lot of REM used. I like REM though, so this is good for me.

I used to always see Belly - Star and Breeders - Last Splash in used bins. Both in my top 20 albums of all time.

I always see these really cheap. I got my copy of Belly- Star for a dollar, and the Breeders for 2 or 3

I remember seeing multiple copies of World Party ablums in the used bin all during the late 90's early 00's, but since they went oop, they're long gone and selling well on ebay.

An exception to the rule I guess.

I'd be interested in hearing how much that Husker Du mentioned is going for. I'm sure i'll see it used sometime but it won't be cheaper than 8 dollars.

I found Miles Davis-Kind of Blue used for 3.00 last summer. That was cool.
I get really excited when I find my favorite Sun Ra albums used. Again, they're about 8-9 dollars, though.

I didn't think they had more than two...?

And no, I'm not kidding -- I own both of them.

All the same, double-entendre acknowledged.

I usually see File Under Easy Listening. An almost equally great album, too. If you see it, grab it.
