I got sent some screenshots - 1 with the drug plane crashing, visible in the background behind the angels in that dream sequence, and the other showed a stuffed polar bear in with the band in their giant crib. The left bear was "normal," right was clearly a polar.

The usual theory is that the blonde in the Dharma film was the woman on the Walt-napping boat who Molotov-cocktailed the raft.

I liked the Charlie-Claire storyline in Season 1, plus Locke's interactions with him, but I dunno...kinda tired of that particular soap opera.

I liked the joke about the washer/dryer being newer than everything else - didn't that pop up on a bunch of blogs when the hatch was first being explored?

If anyone is annoyed by Drive Shaft, keep in mind they're SUPPOSED to suck. Kind of the point of Charlie's subsequent pathos. He's was a nice young man who wrote pretentious songs, had one lousy hit, then got chewed up and spit out by the industry and his own weaknesses. I also think something bad happened to his Mom.

Oh, the diaper thing was for a commercial. It wasn't a video. Drive Shaft couldn't get a follow-up hit and were desperate for money.

If you say god that was painful, it was supposed to be.

Oh, and the book Locke was flipping through was An Occurance at Owl Creek Bridge, a short story in which the lead character turns out to be dead and the whole story was his dying escape fantasy. I think the producers are just fucking with us there--I think they've already said that the characters aren't dead and don't know it.

Can't remember what it was, but I did read that it's going to actually come out in bookstores and be marketed as being written by one of the crash victims. So a real book, but used as a TV tie-in.

I've seen the Twilight Zone episode of that.
