No, no, Monty, that would've been "I like to snort blow". Wrong context, silly gringo.

To give is closer to to sell than is to like.

But since you prolly didn't get past the ninth grade, I wouldn't expect you to know that.

I used to write poetry and it always came about quite spontaneously.

i skipped through itunes on random until i found a name that suited. It took about 5 songs before Beck's "A Mighty Good Leader".

Once a quarter, stu.

In college, I had long hair and weighed in at 300+. After a road trip to nearby Bucknell university, "Sketchy" was quickly adopted because I certainly looked the bit in comparison. One of the PR guys for the student radio station dubbed me "Sketch," which I began using for a DJ handle.

Some of us claim a different origin for our names each time.

Some judicious quote marks would have made that sentence easier to read.

And I'm not even going to check on your use of 'than', because I've seen it wrong so many times, I no longer know which is which.

Because many of us have different names each time.

"Red is my favorite color, red like your mother’s eyes after awhile of crying about how you don’t love her. She says “I know I don’t deserve supervised sight of her, but each day becomes a blur without my daughter.” Fall is my favorite season, like falling to reasoning why you crashed from on high. She says “Why is my life so uneven, and what have I done right but given you your life if after I led you on into that bar room?” “Yes” is my favorite answer. I took a dancer home, she felt so alone. We stayed up all night in the kitchen doing my dishes, on and on until the dawn. She said “I know it’s easy to have me, but I have seen some things that I can’t even tell to my family pictures,” and “I’m full of fictions and fucking addictions” and “I miss my mother.” She’ll never know I could never forget her. If I could write her a letter, I’d try with every line to say “She still remembers your touch. And I know that it’s not much, but you still haven’t lost her.”

yeah, it came from a song.

It's been done.

This one's for frosted: I was a huge Phish phan for about 2 years in college. I was taking lots of psychedlic drugs, wearing baggy clothes, growing beards. I was also an athlete growing up, but this didn't really go with my newly found hippie sensibilities, so to appease my need for speed and athletic activity, I did what any hippie/athlete would do... I played a lot of ultimate frisbee. I liked it so much, I got kind of got addicted, so much so that my friends began to refer to me as "Disc O' Stu" like "Cup O' Beer". For the board I just made it all one word in all lowercase so I will not be remembered by anyone when the annual OPA awards come up or when we have threads like "Obner Word Association".

When I originally signed up on CMJ, I couldn't thnk of a name. I had a poster for On the Road right by the computer. The character Old Bull Lee seemed like a natural fit. I messed up the orignial registration and therefore had to re-register with a slightly different version of the moniker.

a band I worked with and was friends with back in the day, who went onto somewhat bigger and better things....

then they broke up.

then a month or so ago, they got back together, so I re-visited the name.
