then, we talked about it again and i told her how much it bothered me that she didn't pull me aside and how it embarrassed me, and she told me she was very glad i was embarrassed and i deserved it and she said that i should have been down on my knees thanking her for letting me finish the test rather than telling her what she should be doing.

she's SUCH a fucking cunt. i'm not looking forward to seeing her tuesday.
what an awful day.

wow, what an asshole. i had a teacher like this in high school. (i think you're in hs, right? if not, sorry) those people are miserable in their own skin, so they have to take it out on others in order to feel superior.

yes, in high school. she's elderly so she's just upset because she has a sagging grey vagina.

Hang in there cp. I had a teacher like this. I think we all have at one time. I never knew what I did, but from the get go she had it in for me plus she seemed to favor only cheerleaders and footballers. I did startle her once in an essay. I got a "see me after school memo" and after that talk we each pretended the other didn't exist. Anyhow, just do your work and keep confrontations to a minimum unless she's purposefully degrading your work.

My weekend is wide open. I'll probably lay low to prepare for the annual fishing excursion in the Keys and Everglades the following weekend. It would be a good chance to burn some cd's which I have been meaning to do for sometime.

Today: Work, dinner then go see Underworld 2 with josh
Saturday: nada. Probably clean a little, run to Target and grocery store for a few items, maybe try to clean some of Charlie's room. Read all day, watch a couple movies cause Josh is out that night with the band.

Sunday: relax with my husband, go maternity clothes shopping since I'm starting to show and my regular jeans aren't cutting it anymore. Return some shoes to Nordstroms. Come home and chill out the rest of the day. Dinner, simpson etc.

Monday: Let carpet cleaners in to work. Go see the owner of our salon next door cause she does my hair for free and get mine done.

Yeah, this is my relaxing three day weekend. I have my son three weekends in a row after this so I need one I can sleep in and just do nada.

Tonite: Burn a bunch of discs (Roseanne Cash, Bright Eyes, Portastic, The Band Box Set) Drive to Montgomery for the second time in 2 days (this time I don't get mileage check for it, tho) Cash expense check. Prolly take FEMGAR out to dinner or order in and monger and watch a movie.

Tomorrow: Drive Femgar to airport, head south to my dad's to do taxes and drink Guinness until I am blue in the face. Puke and then drink more.

Sunday: Deal with hangover. Probably swim if its nice. Dread the next week.

Tonight: Go out to dinner with me lady. Which will consist of greasy but oh so good Wisconsin goodies.

Tomorrow: Wake up @ 4:30am to take girlfirend to airport. Hang out with Cap'N and try and figure out this whole Collinswood thing, exchange music. Not drink.

Sunday: Put grill I got for xmas together and grill steaks the girlfriends Mom is bringing over.

And all this without drinking.

tuesday i cried because my teacher accused me of cheating in front of my entire class even though i wasn't.

this sucks. last year my son was in 6th grade and he had a social studies teacher who, during the first two weeks of class, accused him of forging our signatures on a homework project. when we met her at open house the picture became clearer. first off, she referred to her self in the third person and carried on about all of her phd work and travels and blah, blah, blah. we had words.

a few months later when we pulled him out of that school altogether she admitted to having it out for him in the beginning because he has really long hair. god, i hated that place. he's much happier at hippie school now.

the good news for you is that your out of school this year, right?

hanging out with the kids.
moving/reorganizing furniture all over this apartment so i can easily work on several drawings/paintings at a time.
maybe take the kids to a movie and pray they don't want to see underworld but i think they do.

like i said, random.

now that's a retard. teachers are just like any other professionals, though. There are good ones and bad ones. Of course, we all want our children to have nothing but good ones. I wish that could be the case.

you will find no bigger champion of teachers and the teaching profession than me. it sounds weird but i think it's one of the highest callings in life and to do it well takes a lot of hard work and dedication.

sure there are some real losers out there. the jr. high has an art teacher that gives the kids assignments and then plays solitaire on her laptop for the rest of the class. she did it when my daughter was there and four years later when my son was there. that sucks.

but they both had a math teacher that was so invigorating and exciting that the parents at open house wanted to take his class.

sorry for the hijack.

That's ok. You don't want to get me started. My last three years have been spent battling with the school system. It's less about the teachers then the rest of the staff who are supposed to be helping children with needs(son is ADHD and has a learning disability).

I've been to several meetings where I've ended up leaving wanting to yank his ass out of the school right that second. This year is better and we just had a big meeting last week where I discovered they actually seem to have their shit together regarding my son this time. Makes me feel a little better but still. The system just seems to me to be in such disarray that I wonder at times if home schooling would be better. And I would do it if it wasn't for the fact the child needs to have social interaction on a daily basis with other kids.

i used to nanny/tutor a seven year old boy with adhd and i was constantly amazed at how his teachers and counselor treated him. they would yell at him, put him out of class, take his pens and pencils (this was done if he was doodling while the teacher was talking... hey, at least he wasn't talking!), and just cause this kid to have breakdowns every day. he was messed up enough by his lunatic mother over/undermedicating him on a daily basis and the teachers were no help. to top it off, this was at a chicago magnet school in a pretty fancy area of town.

There's nothing wrong with criticizing the bad examples -- doesn't mean the whole lot is like that. I, too, appreesh teachers, but part of that has to be some "tough love" for when they're not doing so well, neh?

just found out my friend's little boy (who is 2) was admitted to the hospital.

he's been very sick for the past couple of days.
so, now i'll probably be up at the hospital quite a bit as well.

he was born with a lot of health problems (hydroencephalitis, scoliosis, his left arm didn't form correctly....and he was PREMATURE. so, he's extra little already....) i'm really worried about him. he's like a nephew to me. we're really close...he lives upstairs from me.

he's SERIOUSLY the happiest little baby ever. i call him sunshine because he's always happy and just radiates smiles.
