They're playing the Stones - Hand of Fate (featuring the great Wayne Perkins on guitar)

Even for Steve Jones, this is just too much.

I really like "Hand of Fate". It came up on my Pandora just a few days ago.

Oh, I love it and most everything on Black and Blue.

BUT YOU CAN'T PLAY STUFF LIKE THAT ON THE RADIO!

What next, "Hey Negrita"?

I heard a Muzak version of "Carmelita" once in the wee morning hours at a Shoneys.

Catching that late night seafood buffet, eh?

I think I would have gotten up and left if I heard that.

I like jonesey's jukebox, but from what I've heard, that station pretty much blows otherwise....

pretty much. apparently most of the shows are pre-recorded and they have a "master playlist" which they just play on the computer.

so much for "live" radio.

it's the decent indie station in la (besides kxlu 88.9 or kcrw 89.9). before that, we only had KROQ which sucks donkey balls.

In order to light homeless people on fire without fear of an arson charge (for burning down a Shoney's)?

It's rare I'm some place I can listen & actually get it in clear & remember but when I do I real enjoy Jonsey. He plays a lot of early Eno which is key
