And I have no shame for drinking it and reading about it simultaneously - nor for telling you.

What's the difference between single malt and the regular stuff?

I'd agree. I've had that before. But I've also just read that Glenfiddich is little more than the success of good marketing.

I'm tapping out my bottle of 12yo Glenlivet soon.

My favourite is Lavardulin, which I've had but once.

Lavardulin is good. Ive always been the biggest supporter of Macallan 18 year. I havent had the pleasure of Macallan 25 year yet (I graduate in 4 months, maybe then), though.

And Glenfiddich has never done as much for me as Glenlivet.

All I've learned is that single malt has been distilled at the same distillery with no admixture of whisky from others. There may be combinations of different aged whiskies from the distillery that are still considered single malts, but blends.

I suppose I deserve that for the comment I made about you ripping music at 128.

Never had Macallan, but I'll seek it out this weekend.

Do you like getting drunk on this biz or just sipping it frugally?

I wish I liked it. Maybe it's an acquired taste? I used to not like beer.

My favorite is Glenmorangie (sp). Johnnie Walker Black is good shit too.

Did it have anything to do with my comment?

Whirred. As I said, this is my sudden fave. I had it at a restaurant in Toronto called Pangaea just a couple weeks ago. Smokay.

I'm a scotch novice, but I've definitely come to prefer it to bourbon.

I think I've only had Glenmorangie (?), Glenlivet (12), and Johnnie Walker (Red and Black), and I couldn't really pick a favorite.

I got a lot of comments on that. I'll need to check on which one yours was.

A knee-jerk note to avoid you on Colinswood.

that's what I thought.
Most people avoid me on Colinswood anyway, because I have stuff like the Four Horsemen.
