Pumachik and Arcade Fire

I've just made Dri's night.

Arcade Fire have added another show to their Sunday gig on January 16th at The Troubadour (it'll be an early show). It hasn't been announced yet...but, well, you know...me and connections and all, I got the lowdown. So, if any of you LA kids wish to hit the Troub for tickets, do so now. My friend who works there told me that when the January 16th show went on sale, she arrived at work to find the fax machine filled with ticket orders. It was sold out straight away. I'm certain the same thing will happen to this one when it officially goes on sale.

Anyway, Dri and I will be there celebratin' it mad birthday style. Maybe we'll see some of you there -- you'll be more than welcomed to kick it with us for the afterparty.

I tried to see these bastards once in San Fran and two seperate shows here in Vancouver. Sold out. All of 'em. I know lots of folks who went. None of whom fainted but shit, can't a pal catch a break (and a ticket)???

How did you get tix when the presale is only through Ticketmaster, and starts next week....

I was just beyond frustrated because 3 shows in one month, all sold out. So, when she called me, I freaked out, because hell yes I want to go.

OK - So how the f@*&%$# did these tickets sell out by 1:15p when they didn't go on sale until 1???
This is ridiculous...makes me feel like an ass for going to my class to ensure a passing grade and giving up my ticket to see them a couple weeks ago...

All I saw was about 350 people with thier mouths hanging open. And like Stu said, alot of "Holy Shit!". Oh yea, and people proposing to the violin player.

It's madness how fast the shows in LA sold out. Not to mention, 3 in SF that sold out too.

And I was mumbling because I was taking a nap before the Moving Units show (which, btw, sucked), and when you called and told me the news that immediately woke my ass up!
