Just poured a Guinness AND a Boddington's

One for Strength, the other for Balance.

Listened to Room on Fire the whole way down here after a fine chat with Dr. Bloor.

For my money, its the best album of this decade.

There was a time when I would vociferously disagree with that statement, but you could be right. The time spent getting to know its charms was worth it.

Drunk on two beers? Only explanation that makes sense... but you are a weird one.

Me, much wine with colleagues. Drunk posting. Considering: water, for no hangover, or more alcohol, for inertia buzz?

Not drunk yet. Would and have made the same statement dead sober.

Whipped up some red beans & rice with scrimps innit, plus minced garlic / butter toast. Now back to the Angrytimes.

Happy Chinese New Year's Eve, Obnish!

What an interesting day. After a glorious day skiing we had a few IPAs on the hill and a lovely lady sitting by the fire with us pulled out a bottle of (what the hell is that cinnamon liquorcalled?) and we did shots. Then we went out for chinese smorg and the Chinese lady who owned the place didn't know what a Singapore Sling was!!! What the hell? Of course I have no idea what's in one, but its my tradition to have one on Chinese New Year!

Now its only 8:00 p.m. and I'm ready to call it a night.

Gung Hoy Fat Choy!

So, you got Michael off the wagon -- NOW WHO'S IN CONTROL, KRUSTY?

Make sure to tuck his copy of million little pieces under his pillow so he can commiserate once he wakes up ;)

I only drink unless I am alone or with someone.

I looked at the miserably bleak cabinets, and was seriously just this () close to saying "so you like spaghetti-o's, right?" when I spotted the bag of rice.

Huh. I totally missed that thread. How did I do that?

Oh... sorry.

It's not like that. My roomie's a boy... his gf is over and my bf is coming home any second.

I have a tendency to make things sound more surly than they really are.
