I'e noticed people talking about playing/buying guitars in several threads and I was wondering what kinds of instruments everyone plays. I play a Fender cyclone guitar, a Yamha Bass, a Rouge Mandolin, an Ibanez Acoustic guitar and a yamha keyboard.

I play a crappy Fender acoustic I've had since I was 15, a Mexican Tele, and a banjo (very poorly). All lefty.

drums fairly well, guitar poorly.

Instruments I own and hope to play properly one day:

+ mbira (African thumb piano)
+ electric bass (1970s Ibanez)
+ glockenspiel

A trapkit. (Specifically, a Pearl-brand five-piece [i.e., a floor tom, two hanging toms, snare drum, and bass drum].)

I play rhythmic couch arm/desk top and am pretty adept at mouth guitar.

i used to play piano when i was younger, but i quit. i regret it now. i wish i was musically inclined.

I play the skinflute.

I have a takamine acoustic/electric. I started when I was 15, but I haven't really played much in the last two years.

I'm OK at playing keys. I'm good at programming a synth/drum machine. Can play drums a little too.

bass - very well
hand percussion - fair
trap set - poor
guitar - shabby

And a mix of Zildjian/Paiste cymbals and a deep, brass snare.

I've been playing for about 30 years, so I'm fairly competent.

Once upon a time, I played the guitar and was able to read music. Not anymore.

I really want to learn how to play the accordian. There's one for 40 dollars at a thrift store nearby that's supposed to work well, and it's pretty, too.. but I don't know how to play it.

I'm pretty good at classical guitar and drums. I also play electric guitar, keyboard, and recorder.

Piano is my first instrument. I also play lots of synths, the occasional electronic drums and percussion, and sound effects guitar. I keep trying to learn real guitar, but end up just whipping out a keyboard and playing 5- and 6-note chords instead.So you're really Nancy Wilson...?

ive forgotten how to do this too after not using it for 9 or so years

I don't play or own any real instruments at the moment.
I used to play and still can, baritone, tuba, valve trombone and a little keyboard.
Singing is the only thing I still have any real skill in musically speaking.
