Before kids, we alternated. Now that we have 2 youngish daughters, we make our family come to us for Xmas, and they don't seem to have a problem with that.

Alternate. And we try to do the opposite on Thanksgiving, so that the parents got to see us on at least one of those holidays each year.

we spend xmas eve-xmas early afternoon at my p's, rest of the time at her p's. but we're not married, and our parents are only 2 hours apart.
