is playing a show in Omaha with freaking James Blunt and tickets are $24. I'd like to check out their show, but cannot stomach paying that kind of cash and leaving before the headliner. If the James Blunt single didn't completely annoy the hell out of me, I'd probably be there.

That is such an odd pairing. I thought Bluntman would be playing shows with Dave Matthews soundalikes, not a UK indie pop band.

Oh, I definitely am not planning on going. I'll have to ask the guys who booked the show why they did so when I see them saturday night at the Criteria show.
I wish they would have paired The boy least likely to... with Kite Pilot, a local band that opened for The Arcade Fire when they played here. I have a feeling that they got paired together because they are British.

is it just one show or is "The boy least likely to" actually on tour with blunt?

they were headlining their own show here, but it was just cancelled. that leads me to believe that someone in the band is sick or they've dropped their headlining gigs to tour with that guy.

I only know of this date, I haven't checked pollstar or any thing else. This show is being put on by the major indie promoters in Omaha, 1% Productions.

They're playing in Boston on 3/31 by themselves, or they were last time I checked.

They're also playing at SXSW where I hope to see them.

I've nothing against Blunt. Some okay songs on the album. But I surely wouldn't pay actual money to see him.

That's funny because Weller's last album really sucked.

According to Pollstar, they are touring together. Here are the dates:

i don't care how good boy least likely to are or were, they now completely and unredeemingly suck, merely by association.

you're retarded. they're a young band whose album doesn't even have a proper stateside release yet and they automatically suck because they got a break and got to go on tour with someone who's getting a bit of publicity in the US? so by that logic, any band who you've ever seen and has been on a bill with someone that you don't like, sucks by default.

dude, i've heard about 3 of their songs, and this was the nail in the coffin. I didn't like them before this, and i like them even less now. There's something called dignity, and if they had any they wouldn't be on the same bill as James Blunt.

And to retort to your isinuation of my logic, bands i like don't go on tour with bands that suck.
