I thought for sure the New Pornographers would be part of the lineup, but I guess that wouldn't work with Neko's solo release.

No Strokes, no White Stripes/Raconteurs, no New Pornographers, no Arctic Monkeys.

Lots of holes here. But the lack of must-see locks means I'll venture to the tents more and see some new stuff I would've missed otherwise.

While I'm here, anyone up for catching Damien Marley w/ me? Both my cohorts avoid reggae like death, but I got a feeling dude's gonna go off crazy live.

There's still some time left. Also, no Tom Vek?

I think, even if I lived out there, I still wouldn't go to that. There's tons of bands that I don't mind but none that I really love.

The only bands on that bill that I'd pay money to see by themselves would be DM, the Yeahs, and Cat Power

Right on. I'm looking forward to Obnering as much as anything.

I guess I have high expectations from my excursion in 2004 which had the unreal quartet of Radiohead, Pixies, The Cure and The Flaming Lips headlining. Plus, I was REALLY hoping for a Stone Roses reunion this year.

Still, it's a can't-miss event if you've got the means to make an adventure out of it, which is what I suspect we'll do.

Gilles Peterson (presumably)
Los Amigos Invisibles

good lord, a Stone Roses reunion would have been insane!

I'm looking to come out, soak it all in, and enjoy myself. Certain people will complain, but if you can't find some worthwhile in this lineup, you don't enjoy music. Plain and simple.

i'm VERY stoked about Gilles Peterson showing. i've discovered some music that's just magic when i've caught him during Winter Music Conference in Miami the past few years.
