This'd've been in my Top 15 if I had heard it earlier. What a beautiful bizarre album.

I enjoyed it as well. Have to be in the mood for it though.

Was in my top 15, IIRC.

It's funny, I really liked it at first, then tired of it, and shelved it for most of the year. Saw some mentions of it in various places so I started listening to it again towards the end of the year. It's a really nice little record.

Check out their s/t if you haven't already. I think it made my 2004 list. They're also a lot of fun live.

I've only listened to it once, but it sounded like a noisy mess to me (and not in a good way), but a lot of albums I ended up loving started out this way for me....

I guess it can be a fine line between muddiness and dubbiness with them. But I find her voice to be way less irksome than with my initial experience with them, opening for Animal Collective, I think, and that's the current variable.

Yeah. I love that record. It was in my top of last year.

It just kind of stood out from most of the other stuff I would hear working at the record shop. After awhile most of my co-workers would make me turn it off because it's hard to concentrate or get work done when it's on;it makes you feel like you're on drugs. Mmmm drugs.

I liked it a lot...
The follow up (pieced together live performances, I believe)... Not so hot.
