He's been dying for one and we got it on sale for only $40!
He thinks he's not getting one, that it's "too big" for him.
I cannot wait to see the look on his face when he opens it.

Yes, it's a real guitar, with actual strings and a working, built-in amplifier.
I hope that I get to play with it!!!

i thought that the rule for parents was never buy the kid something that makes a great deal of noise.

you should have gotten him on the drums, just so later in life you'd never have to worry about finding a new drummer.

We already have a drum set in the basement.
The Hop On Pop drummer bought a new kit and instead of trashing his old one, he gave me his kick, rack tom and floor tom (as well as the kick drum pedal) to give to my guys. So, they already make a lot of noise on that.

I have never felt happier about giving a gift. I can't wait to see the look on his face!
