We have a lot of stickies on the front page, and wilked had a novel suggestion. Should we
sticky one thread that contains links to all of the 2006 list threads in the very first post? 47%  47%  [ 15 ]
do nothing - 2 clicks is 1 too many 53%  53%  [ 17 ]

What should we do? I intentionally did not include "remove all stickies forever," because that's not really a compromise. I think wilked's idea is pretty good, personally, but i'd like to see how strongly people feel.

Since people are apparently complaining, why not move the four "list" threads and sticky them in the Lists forum instead?

I picked "do nothing", but I really think in the long run we should keep them down to just 2 threads: purchases and shows.

also, i love that everything is "official." who's accrediting these things?

Maybe we should have a whole sticky forum.

Just for stickies.

he he. I love making "OFFICIAL" threads.

Accept no imitators or cheap knock offs Haq. Unlike you, I refuse to buy my thread titles down on Canal Street.

You and your Bolex watch and your Hashmere cardigan sweaters and your unofficial official threads.....Disgraceful.

I got some sticky for ya. Just like the little icon on the left, there. No exclamation point in mine, but I'm working on it.

Answer: Do nothing.
Feeling: Get a life, those who critique all board things.

I actually find I'm less likely to read a thread if it's stickied. Because I do just scroll past them and ignore them.

I don't get people who play the apathy card, have an opinion. If you like 5-10 stickies, say so, if not, say otherwise. If you truly have no opinion, than why are you in this thread? Leaving it as is simply to 'do nothing', or 'because that is the way it is' makes no sense

This thread title would also be a great name for a home improvement show in which Paris Hilton gives tips on cleaning a "busy" bedroom.

It's easy to misunderestimate the full power of apathy.
