NORFORK, Ark. - A teenager accused of going on a rampage at a Massachusetts gay bar with a hatchet and a gun was in a Missouri hospital Saturday after two shootings in northern Arkansas that resulted in the death of a police officer and a woman accompanying the wounded teen, state police said.

Jacob D. Robida, 18, was transported to a hospital at Springfield, Mo., after an exchange of gunfire with police in Norfork, according to state police spokesman Bill Sadler.

Sadler identified the slain officer as Jim Sell, a member of the Gassville police force. Sadler said he did not know the name of the woman who died in the gunfire at Norfork.

Robida was wanted in the attack Thursday at Puzzles Lounge in New Bedford, Mass., that left three men wounded, one critically.

Police have labeled the attack a hate crime and said Robida would be charged with attempted murder, assault and civil rights violations.

Hmph. It really doesn't get much gayer than ICP.

But you have to give those boys points for persistence. I figured they weren't good for ten thousand in record sales in '97, after Island picked them up (at the behest of U2, who thought they were doing something to protect free-speech (as ICP had been dropped from Hollywood before release, even, because The Great Milenko was deemed grossly insensitive))... But, somehow, someway, the gothic-wigger side-project of gastric-bypass recipient Jason Navarro - known better as the front-man of Suicide Machines - has carried on, becoming even more popular than his main, politi-punk (with horns, sometimes) band.

Who would have thought?

I thought that was a music urban legend.

As for him being an ICP fan, I don't get the band, but their followers seem to be only the Hot Topic variety. A friend in college listened to them sometimes and I just didn't get their stuff.

Might be. But I'll believe it 'til I hear from the horse's mouth that it's not true.

Better yet, I want to see Violent J and Jason Navarro in the same room, at the same time, and have there be two men in the room, one alleging to be VJ and the other alleging to be JN.

... As it is, Suicide Machines were signed to Hollywood in '96-7, with the third-wave ska boomlet (that occurred to fill the breach with the death of "grunge"); simultaneous to that, Insane Clown Posse, "friends" of Suicide Machines and from the same town (in fact, they were the only non-ska-punk band thanked on Destruction by Definition), were signed to Hollywood. I am thinking that SM made their signing to any label conditional on their side-project getting signed to same label. And, that happened. Never mind that Hollywood dropped the one; once the ink was dry, SM was locked into HW.

Makes sense to me. But, Swiateck, who knows his Central Mich hardcore, seems (to claim) to not know anything of this....

He's dead now. Too bad. I'm not sure he would have liked the prison culture.

From Wikipedia:
A Juggalo is a fan of the Insane Clown Posse. The term was created by Violent J of the Insane Clown Posse for those people who listened to their music. The term Juggalo is a term referring to male fans, while Juggalettes is a term created by the fans to refer to female fans. The most famous Juggalo of all-time is Jacob D. Robida, who on February 2, 2006, went on a violent rampage resulting in critical injuries to patrons at a Massachusetts gay bar with a gun and hatchet, which incidentally is the symbol and street name of ICP's record label, Psychopathic Records.

Violent J stated in Behind the Paint (Violent J's Autobiography) that during a concert they were singing "The Juggla", from the Carnival of Carnage album, and Violent J would say "You can't fuck with the Juggla. What about you Juggalo? Are there any Juggalos in here?" The term is often confused with merely being a fan of Psycopathic Records due to the tight connections Juggalos have to Insane Clown Posse, similar artists and their record label. Many Juggalos see Juggalism as a subculture or even a way of life.

I have to laugh at the conjugations of the word "juggla".

-juggalo
-juggalos
-juggalettes
-juggalism

teehee.

Ok, you've crossed the line.

Don't fuck with KISS.

They had the KISS Army, not some stupid ass monkey names to call each other, and also it was the 70s. That alone should lead to leniency.

Course KISS didn't advocate complete dickery, just objectification of wimmins.

ICP are another level of "why would any woman ever even speak to this cretin" dickoffery.
