Why am I just watching this now? I remember reading about it before it debuted and thought it sounded cool, but I missed the first episode and gave up. Finally, I decided to download them.

I'm only five episodes in, but I'm just like "whoa" nearly every episode. Locke being revealed to be a former handicap was my favorite so far, though the polar bear is just weird. Even though nobody's mentioned it since.

So yeah. The rest of season one is downloading. Hopefully I can play catch up to the new episodes on tv within the week.

You will discover gradually that every single person in the cast is fucked in the head. Hurley and Sun are the only ones with any vestige of sane behavior.

And it's a great show.

I find my thoughts drifting to this week's upcoming episode often. That scares me a little.

Wednesdays... somehow they sneak up on me still, most weeks, and it's always the best surprise.

Sawyer shoots a polar bear in, like, episode 2 or 3. 3, I think.

And who's Sun? Is that the Asian woman?

Also, I guess the "monster" or whatever has been revealed already, but at this point I keep picturing this:

i've been playing catch up on the first season on netflix. but i've hit a standstill. i found myself losing interest around the 4th disc. so, i'm taking a break from the catch-up and will just continue with the current season.

I thought this thread was going to be about newbies who didn't know where they were.

Oh also, what does Charlie have in the little baggy? It looks like pills of some kind. Are we not supposed to know yet?

heroine.

and the polar bears get mentioned a few times throughout s 1 and 2, but mostly just like "you don't think X could happen?! there was a polar bear!"

You're gonna have to face it you're addicted to Lost.

Ha!

I still laugh at this, a mere 24 hours laters.

Get used to it. Characters constantly neglect to tell anyone else about the weird things they experience.

Okay, done season 1. Trying to download all of season 2 now.

I'm intrigued by a couple of things and have theories but I won't bore you with them until I'm caught up to the current new episodes on tv.
