Speaking of naps... I was out pretty late Friday night (okay, so it was only til 2... I ain't a young whippersnapper anymore), and was up by 8:30 Saturday morning. I felt surprisingly good, and hubby and I went out for brekkie. Got home around 10-10:30, and immediately fell asleep on the couch for 2 hours. But I must say I felt refreshed afterwards.

Yesterday, got on the bike around 9:30 am, and by 9:30 pm, could barely keep my eyes open. 'course, that mighta had something to do with the super strong mai-tai's my husband was mixing....

I was bored too, but now I am off work until 2:30pm tomorrow. We are having a roller derby practice tomorrow, so I am excited.

The object of the game is to move the red block around without getting hit by the blue blocks or touching the black walls.

If you can go longer than 18 seconds you are phenomenal.
It's been said that the US Air Force uses this for fighter pilots. They are expected to go for at least 2 minutes.

Give it a try!!

Got progressively more hungover as the day went along. By 3:30, thought I was going to either fall asleep right there in class or kill someone.

Came home, took Dat Bath, sipping water, pondering a fridge full of disappointment. Not a great way to turn 30. Meh.

it's yr. birfday?

I hear ya on the hangover. Got home last night, mongered, asleep by 11. Dog woke me up at around 1:30, never quite back to sleep, at least not good sleep. Got up at 5 and drove to Mobile. Got hungrier, more stuffed up, and a bigger headache all day.

Unfortunately, yes. But FemCap'n has been fabulous... surprise trip to chicago saturday, b+b, Field Museum, ski trip with a buncha folks coming up in 2 weeks (cabin up in the woods). Oh and that bath today wasn't alone. I do not deserve her.

Over the last couple of years, the plugged sinuses have been my absolute guarantee the next day, the headache, dizziness and general malaise all depend on what I've been imbibing.

1. Whiskey - Open Death
2. Vodka/Gin - Vertigo Defined
3. Beer - The Slow Burn
4. Wine - Just Like Heaven

Mixing any of the above together, notably beer and red wine, creates horrible psychoticism. Every rampage from the last couple of years was created by beer + wine and/or bourbon. And the hangover lasts > 24 hours.

Change "bored" to "tired" and you've got me.
But thankfully, I'm done and can go home now.

Fuck, do I hate Mondays.
