I mean, it was lame and everything - just as you'd expect - but there were a couple of worthwhile moments:

1. When Anna Nicole Smith flipped the bird at that one comedian (can't remember his name), and he said "Will someone find a 90-year-old dick for that woman to suck?"

2. Watching Courtenay Love make a total fool out of herself. Holy shit, what a foul, ugly mess. "How is it possible that Courtenay Love looks worse than Kurt Cobain?" <--- quip from another forgotten comic.

Anyway, yes, I'm a loser for watching it.

I liked the part when Courtney said "The differnce between me and Pam is that she likes musicians and I like good musicians" while Tommy Lee was there

Courtney looks like she was hit in the face with a 2-by-4.

Dunno if you saw the cut or uncut version (they play it @ 1 am Saturdays sometimes) but the uncut one is 10 times more foul and funny.

the only real justification for the FCC's regulation of content on network TV is the scarcity of bandwidth/limited number of channels in a geographic area, and the idea that the "air" belongs to the public and should be beholden to the "public interest," which includes protecting kiddies from bad words. that justification doesn't really exist with cable, and while the FCC has threatened to step in if cable companies get out of line, i don't think it's subject to remotely the same restrictions.

I think conservatives have pretty much ceded Comedy Central and Spike TV to the devil.

Priceless.

Quote:
Love said another cut, "Stand Up Motherfucker," was inspired by a family member. "There was an incident where my novelist grandmother said in the New York Times [that] she didn't like the way I used language," she explains. "I reacted to that, and I wrote an elegiac sort of song using the word 'motherfucker' in it." The lyrics include, "With your total lack of discipline/Your desperate air need/You remind me of Caligula/I think you'd better leave/You come to me injectable and powdered to ingest/I never was respectable but at least I was well-dressed."

I thought her last album was pretty good, though.

"I've been really inspired lately and have remained inspired," said the rocker, citing the new tune "Good in Bed," which sports the lyric, "Tell me why the evil people are so very good in bed."

Love said another cut, "Stand Up Motherfucker," was inspired by a family member. "There was an incident where my novelist grandmother said in the New York Times [that] she didn't like the way I used language," she explains. god, i love her.

With no hyperbole, I can say that I think those lyrics are great.

They've never seen a roast before, have they? The point was not to "celebrate" her "career", the point was to roast her like a pig on a spit. Figuratively speaking.

Poor bastards. I wonder what it's like to go through life without a sense of humour...must be awful. I wonder if there are treatments they can get for that...like tickling...
