So I went to check out Pop Levi last night... holy hell, this guy is awesome. Apparently this show was a one-off thing and the set was a delta-blues solo set... just a guitar & harmonica. I think a few of you would've dug that. The crowd was a bit rude and talking really loud (go figure- it's LA)... small venue, so there wasn't a stage. He held it up nicely despite people not paying attention... in some ways his voice reminded me of Jack White, but his style more T. Rex.

Ish you guys need to put out a 7" of the delta blues stuff!!!

It'll probably be some time, but there should be at least a 7 of his coming out in the summer.

Yeah I kept thinking, too bad Ish isn't here to see this since you're the one who told me about this show... even Rian dug it and I didn't think she would be into it.
