What can you tell me about these bands?



I own the Boy Least Likely To record and love it.

I've heard some Serena and though they were okay in a shoegazey kind of way.

And I've heard tons about Art Brut and Love Is All without actually hearing them yet. The other three are complete unknowns to me.

don't like that serena recrod. don't like that art brut record. don't like that love is all record. and the boy leas likely to record is ok.

Serena Maneesh is just decent - they dont live up to their influences, but not unlistenable

Art Brut - I like them, but alot of people dont. Im a fan of smart arse brits though.

also, those three were 'new' artists last year

from the threads on another board where i post, you'd think art brut were the second coming. i don't believe i've heard a note by them, though.

art brut = awesome

Taken by themselves, Art Brut songs can be pretty awesome. As a whole I found the album to be a bit much.

I liked the Serena Maneesh album, but it's kinda just shoegazer-revival. The last track on it is pretty awesome, but on the whole it's nothing mind-blowing or revelatory. It might seem like I'm kinda parroting the above comments, but I do think this is worth at least one good listen all the way through.

All you need from Art Brut are a few songs, but...they're awfully fun, good songs.

I like Art Brut alot but I agree with Drinky.

Well, all your comments have done is make me even more curious about Lupen Crook, The Research, and My Visor.

It seems nobody has heard of them.

only heard of serena maneesh, boy least likely to, and art brut. and i like them all.

don't know the others.
