Second best show on the airwaves? I'd say so, despite the cheesy overdramatic stuff like people coming back from the dead.

Ethan is a jerk.

I watched the first 2 episodes and then missed the next couple due to the Red Sox so I figured I don't want to pick it up in the middle of the season so I decided I'd just get the first season whenever it comes out on dvd.

I really like this show, try to catch it whenever I can. I get chills from time to time, like it's almost as good as music. I missed it tonight, 'cause I went to the, ahem, gym. Can you fill me in on what went down, please?

This is my new favorite show. It can be lame from time to time (i.e. bringing people back from the dead by hitting them), but it's still good. I hate that next week's isn't new!

I kind of wish I could watch it on DVD, as I don't really like being in suspense week after week after week. However, I've been sucked into it, so it's too late for me to wait for it on DVD.

BTW, if you're a broadbander, you can probably catch most of the episodes on suprnova.org.

Well, sure, but remember you can catch reruns on every other Saturday, so you might want to see it for yourself instead. But if you rather read it from me...

SPOLIERS AHEAD

As you may recall, Hurly discovered there was a person living with them who had not been on the plane, Ethan. Ethan kidnaps Charlie and Claire. When Jack and the others learn that Ethan might be a shaddy character, they realize he was the guy Claire claimed was trying to hurt her, and they went on their way to try and find them. They then find out they are too late and the two have been kidnapped.

Locke, Jack, Kate and Boone go off to find them. Locke leads the way, but when there is a dispute over where the trail lead, they slpit into two teams, Kate/Jack and Boone/Locke.

Jack and Kate end up being the ones on the right trail. After Jack takes a slippery tumble, he find himself next to Ethan, who warn he will kill one of his captives if they continue following him. Jack tries some take-down move on him, and Ethan beats the shit out of Jack. When Jack regains conciousness, he and Kate continue until they find Charlie hanging from some sort of noose. They take him down, Jack is pounding on his chest frantically in order to get him to breathe. After about a minute of blows to Charlie's chest, which should have shatteredhis ribcage, he begins gasping for air (sort of cheesy, but I didn't want Charlie to die, so I forgive them). It's dark, so they go back to camp for rest and so Charlie can recover from dying. Charlie says almost nothing, except that Ethan was only interested in Claire.

Boone and Locke seem to be making no progress, but when Boone gives up and decided to go back to camp, they discover they are standing on steel. The show closes on this, so we don't know what the steel belongs to.

The flashbacks in this episode consisted of Jack and his father operating on a patient who ends up dying. The patient dies because Jack's father was drunk and cut some artery. Jack's father convinces him to not mention alcohol to whoever, but Jack changes his mind when he found out the patient was pregnant.

Sawyer confronts Sayid, and learns about the French woman.

I guess that's it. Was that too much detail, or too little?

Yeah, this show is awesome. Kate makes my pants go tingly. Sawyer is the new Matthew McConaughey.

And I must reiterate, HURLEY RULES!!!

Pretty funny.

Lost = open qual for network Teev,

but THE WIRE makes all of this shit look like a dung heap (which I guess it is, since I refer to it as shit)

I go back and forth on this show. But lately I like it pretty good. Missed this weeks but thanks for the update g. I can't help but think of Party of Five when I see Jack though. Oh shit, did I just say that out loud? I'm gonna go back in the closet now.

What if they're not on an island after all? I hope they don't drag this show on for more than one season (but I'm sure they will).

I was thinking the same thing. They haven't circled it, they don't know what's up. But I just now realized they were traveling from Austrailia to the US, and there's not much in between but water and islands.

Islands with polar bears.

I thought the same thing about 24. I liked the idea of having it be a one season show, but then they went ahead and made the show a day longer.

I've finally been able to watch some episodes thanks to bittorrent. I've got 3 more episodes that I downloaded and then I'm going to try and download the rest.

It's really good so far. Episode 4 with Locke was pretty cool how it all made sense at the end tho I think he may be a bit of a kook. I wanted to stab the fuck out of his boss though.

Kate is pretty hot and so is the preggo chick.

There was an article in entertainment weekly with theories about what's going on.

Yup. You can see 2 reruns every Wednesday for a few weeks. I think the week will be ep 3 and 4, so you don't have to download the episodes if you can catch it on TV.

I started doing a bit of snooping around on the internet about the show, and there are rumors about there being plots developed for futher seasons.

Also, writers seem to have already denied any theories involving the character being dead.

I just checked and this week is episodes 4 and 5 so I can miss the first one and then catch 5 hopefully. Next week is 7 and 8 though so I'll have to watch 6 on my computer.
