so for my wedding rehearsal dinner thing we're having one of those montages that shows pictures of my and my better half throughout the years, complete w/ music. i'm trying to think of music to play while it's showing pics of our friends. the section is only like 5 minutes long, so we'll probably just play half of 2 songs, or a 1/3 of 3. i'm drawing a blank of what would fit. anyone have any ideas? please, help a fellow boner out.

"There Goes My Heart" - Enuff Z'Nuff
(seriously... it's a great power pop tune)

"And To Think" - Hop On Pop
(of course I gotta get the self plug in!)

"'Till The End Of the Day" - The Kinks

The hours approaching, just give it your best
You got to reach your prime.
That’s when you need to put yourself to the test,
And show us a passage of time,
Were going to need a montage (montage)
Oh it takes a montage (montage)

Sure a lot of things happing at once,
With mind, everyone what’s going on (what’s going on?)
And when every shot you show a little improvement
Just Show it or it will take to long
that’s called a montage (montage)
Oh we want montage (montage)

And anything that we want to know, from just a beginner to a pro,
You want a montage (montage)
even rocky had a montage (montage)

(Montage…montage)

Anything that we want to know, from just a beginner to a pro,
You need a montage (montage)
Oh it takes a montage (montage)

Always fade out in a montage,
If you fade out, it seem like more time
Has passed in a montage,
Montage

First...Paul Westerberg. Either "Love Untold" or "These are the Days"

Then...Alejandro Escovedo's "Wedding Day"

Close with Iron Maiden's "Run to the Hills"

Totally. Can't go wrong with Sam the Sham.

Throw in The Buzzcocks "Sixteen Again".

I don't suppose "I'm Waking Up To Us" is a good suggestion.

I laughed out loud while picturing this.

But seriously, "Wouldn't It Be Nice".

That song was written solely for montage purposes.
