I would love to apply both these concepts right now. Second one first.

Hey Drinky, are you taking all of your albums to work to listen to in alpha order?

I'm noticing a pattern.

np: The Minus 5 - The Gun Album

Probly go back for my 4th listen today of the new DBT after this.

Haha. yeah.

Not exactly alphabetical, but pretty much. Like I'll get to the next thing in the alphabet and also grab stuff by related artists. The main point is single-artist marathons. The main point of that being to refrain from trying to get new stuff.

Still haven't listened to that Truckers album yet, but I may put it on instead of Trail of Dead. I'm pretty "meh" on them anyway.

Plus numerous spins of the DBTs. Going to start number 4.

Yeah, I noticed the Air-athon yesterday. Kinda funny, I just listened to Moon Safari and Premiers Symptomes last week back to back.

The Truckers is good. A little more polished sounding and (IMHO) too many Patterson songs and not enough Isbell.

The Air-athon was nice.

In general I've found this to be more enjoyable and less of a chore than I thought it might be.

And Dumpjack's post makes me kinda sad because I've had all 3 of those Tricky albums at one time and now they're all gone (due, in order, to damage, theft, and losing the mp3s).
