My computer told me that it couldn't recognize the download to begin working the Colinwood magic. It didn't know how to read the program, wanting me to browse through my programs to match what it was written in, leaving em totally in the dark. I too am semi-functionally retarded and do not know where to go from here. I've not played with my settings to maximize slsk either cuz I too fear router/port settings and the like. Hell It is the reason I cannot download from half of you.

how do you search for users in slsk if you're not in one of the rooms? i'm sure this is an easy solution but i can't figure it out.

right click in the userlist window (you're most upper right window by default)
add user
then input the name you want

so ...
you have to know the exact name
which is unfortunate
