but in this episode a girl had her hand lodged in a mans open chest holding a live bomb from a bazooka gun so the man didn't explode (along with the hospital) they had to move her from a room over the oxygen line so that the entire hospital didn't blow up if something were to go wrong, another man almost died while his wife was having a baby. it was insane.

the bomb squad guy blew up right after he left the room!

damn, i missed this. i just wanted to see it because of the bomb plotline from last week.

last episode (my mom told me all about it)
a guy and his friend made a bazooka and were trying to fire it in their back yard. the thing didn't go off so the one guy walked around the front to see what the problem was and it fired into his chest.
he was rushed to the hospital, but on the way they realized if they didn't hold on to the bomb then it would explode. so this one girl lodges her hand in his chest to keep it from exploding. she gets to the hospital, freaks out, so another doctor puts her hand in the girls place.
the bomb squad gets there, a man has a heart attack (his wife is having a baby might i add) and they get the bomb out of the mans chest and the bomb squad guy walks out of the room with it, and "grey" goes after him a second later, and he blows up.

it was pretty fucked up.

like i said, it was on in the other room....i heard it/saw part of it...i was working on a paper while the mrs. was watching it....

i know! why in the hell were they not mentioned for the rest of the episode? i figured when the two came up and told the wife the status of her stupid husband theyd mention the status of everyone else.

but i felt so sad when he blew up. i don't know what i'd do if something like that happened to someone i cared about.

Being married to a physican who oversees residents in a teaching hospital, I can give this show a thumbs down in the reality department.

I was almost tricked into liking this show, but I've finally decided that it is crap. I'll still have to watch it because the girlfriend likes it, and honestly, what else is on at 9:00 on Sunday?
