I paid for all the rental tuxes and bought the ties for them to keep. They all came from out of town. We were young then and I figured they spent a lot on getting there.

I might have gonecheap, but I gave each a couple o' bottles of their top-shelf brand favorites. Alcohol was a hit. the wedding was New Years Eve, and after our night, the party was well stocked for the after-party back at the hotel.

i think you should only worry about this if you have really petty friends.

flasks and pocketwatches seem cool, but unless your friends live in 1930, who's gonna use one? is anyone such an alcoholic that they're going to use a flask very often. and couldn't they just buy a little bottle of liquor to begin with?

You obviously don't understand being a drunk, Aaron.

I have a good feeling about what I'm gonna get folks, but since Bloor and Derris are in that shizzy, I can't give it away.

Once I rub them down with curry, a happy ending is pretty much an impossibility.

Go asian.

Hey...most people need a really nice pen at some point. I still use the Montblanc I got as a gift over 15 years ago.

For my groomsmen I went with monogrammed leather CD travel books. If I remember correctly, the best man (my bro) got a gift certificate for music along with his. When we get together for weekends away, I always see a few of the books still being used, so I've always been happy with the choice.
