I was in the local record store the other day and they had the new single 7" for .79 for Matisyahu's upcoming album. Dug the live album, so I picked it up. Got home, was perusing it, and came to find out Laswell produced the 2 tracks on the single. I have to think he produced the entire album then. I'm pretty excited about the release now. To me, producers can make or break an album, and Laswell is one of the tops for me. Interesting how you just stumble across things.

Have you check out his discography? The guy did something* on like 50% of all albums in existence.

*"something" == played bass, produced, or listened and nodded his head

absolutely. He keeps himself busy. Allmusic has 6 pages in just his "credits" section.

I know its gonna be released as a Dual Disc, I wonder if they are gonna be included on that? I'm supposing you are speaking of JDub's website?

Cool. Despite the scorn heaped on Matisyahu around here, I enjoy the live disc. I'll keep an eye peeled for any advance discos. I'm a fan of Laswell nodding his head.

Edit: I see where they are on Conan on March 7th.
