The Broken Family Band return with their 3rd album "Balls", and it's released on February 27th on Track & Field. Country soaked and dark...it's what they do best.

Awesome. I've not downloaded the track but let's be realistic, it's almost certainly brilliant and the album will be a Top 10 in 2006.

BFB Fact. Main singer/songwriter Steven Adams owns a Konstantimix.

I like this track quite a lot, never heard of the band though. I'll look into this, thanks D.

Great band, their back catalogue is consistantly excellent (The King Will Build A Disco; Cold Water Songs; Jesus Songs; Welcome Home Loser and now the new one Balls).

Have head the whole thing and was really impressed, a damn good album. They reminded me somewhat of The Weakerthans, but a bit more countrified. I was really surprised they came from Cambridge UK. This does not seem like music that would come out of that area. Lots of songs about booze and women who leave.
