In all honesty, what is their agenda for America? Do they have one? How well is Dean handling the the Dems money? Didn't Mr. Campaign Reform- Russ Feingold take money from Abramoff?

Why are Dems consumed with negativity and rage? Blame Bush for global warming, blame Bush for global cooling, blame Bush for hurricanes, blame Bush for AIDS, blame Bush for the blizzard in the North East, blame Bush for racial inequality, blame Bush for class warfare, blame Bush for poverty.

"Bush hates women. Bush hates the environment. Bush hates Arabs."

"Bush is Hitler."

"Bush is spying on Americans so he can put dissenters in prison."

Who are the Dems persuading other than conspiracy-theorist leftists?

Negativity doesn't win elections. Using Coretta King's funeral for partisan attacks on Bush (like the Wellstone memorial) that Carter did, doesn't win Americans over.

Come on people. The Democrats are ABSOLUTELY out of power. And the '06 elections aren't a sure bet for Dems.

Time to re-evaluate strategies.

As a Dem, I'm becoming more and more a Reagan Democrat thanks (or no thanks) to loose cannons like Howard Dean.

Whose gonna get the nomination of the '08 election? Election losers like Kerry and Gore gonna run?

Sharpton or Jackson?! Puh-lease.

Hillary?! The polls aren't looking good for her. She's too shrill and phoney.

The Democrat party has slid steadily down the tubes since Kennedy.

It's no longer "Ask not what the country can do for you, but what you can do for the country", but- ASK NOT WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR THE COUNTRY, BUT WHAT THE COUNTRY CAN DO FOR YOU.

You see, the Democratic Party *USED* to be a great political party. Before they used this Cindy Sheehan broad as a puppet. Before Janet Reno raided Waco and before she raided the house Elian Gonzalez was in.

It all comes back to Dems obstructing the current administration on every little thing.

I care. I want the Democratic Party to win in '06 and '08.

But trying to get Bush impeached or hoping he gets murdered or Cheney murdered reflects poorly on the Democratic party.

Liberals are suppose to be open-minded and all-caring. But not towards fundamentalist Christians. All it is is: attack attack attack.

If the Dems lose in '06 (and '08), it's time to take a serious look at the party. You can only accuse the Republicans of "stealing" elections so many times.

I agree. Unfortunately Dean hasn't really led the Dems to any higher ground. The Repubs just have better spin artists, plain and simple. Right now I'm struggling to think of a person (male or female) that the party could rally around. Obama is still a few presidencies away from being a legitimate pick. Obviously Hilary is a no for several reasons. I really think it'll be over if McCain runs. The thing is, I wouldn't be too displeased if he did win. I sort of like the guy.

The Democratic party leaders are clueless, I'm sure they'll blow the next election as well.

I'm from a family that has been staunch Democrat several generations back.

But the days of FDR and Truman (and Kennedy) are a fond memory.

I didn't vote for Kerry. He was too wishy-washy.

I'm going to get a lot of flak here, but liberal Dems don't use common sense.

Take abortion. Why kill the baby and not the rapist? Why not put the baby up for adoption? If the woman didn't want a child, why didn't she get her tubes tied? Afterall, it was "her body".

Human rights?! What about the rights for the millions of babies aborted?

You want to accuse the Bush administration for torturing people at Gitmo
(but didn't mind when the Japanese were put in internment camps in WW2).
You want to give rights to terrorists.
You want to rewrite the constitution.
You want to indocrtrinate school children with Darwinism but want to keep Creationism out of the system.

Alright, I'm going off on tangent here. But the Democratic Party has been hijacked by radical leftists.

The Democratic Party is self destructing.

Bush's approval rating may be low, but the Dems rating is lower.

Doesn't ANYONE care that the Democratic party is turning into a joke?

And accidents don't happen? Population hasn't exploded enough? I agree that abortion shouldn't be an excuse for unadulterated sexual exploits, but it should be legal to help those who really need it, or who cannot handle the financial burdens of having a baby.

Or those killed in Darfur? Oh wait, we're turning a blind eye to that. Or AIDS? Oh crap that too. The elderly? Veterns? The list goes on.

bullshit comment. What one generation did is of no relevance to this generation. One wrong does not make a right. Stop making excuses.

Seriously, you need to get yr facts right. First, who's said that they want to give terrorists rights? Wait, wait wait....who wants to rewrite the constitution?!?!?!?! No one wants to indoctrine children. They simply want them to have a choice, which is more than I can say about the creationism folks.

It's not him that will keep him from being elected. It's his skin color and the pronounciation of his name.

Also agree with this. Amazing how progressive this country pretends to be, but in reality we know the sad truth about yr statement.

I don't know. Liberals are afraid to admit they are liberals. Now it's "progressives".

And Flying Rabbit, abortion is suitable for population control and birth control?!

Flying Rabbit:

Terrorist rights? Have you heard what has been coming out of Al Gore/Harry Reid's (et. al) mouth lately?

The Evolutionists want to to have tax payers pay for their agenda. They want creationism taken out of school books.

About the Japanese internment camps: you want to be a hypocrite or what? Your inane comment there alone supports the rights for the current terrorists that are detained.

And you want to justify abortion for overpopulation and lifestyle preference?

A woamn gives birth twins, but can only afford to support one.
Simple! Selective reduction.

These far-left kooks in the blogosphere are dictating the Democratic agenda.
Plain and simple.

Do you think Harry Reid, Leahy, Kennedy, Howard Dean, Al Gore, Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, Feinstein, John Kerry, Hillary and the usual suspects are helping the Democratic cause?

Who's leading the party?

Let's attack conservative Christians. That'll win elections. Let's concoct some theory that Rove is apart of some hidden government run by Haliburton/Walmart/Capitalist pharmacutical company, and he alone controls Bush.

Get you heads out of the sand, people.

How are the Dems going to win in '06?

What issues will they run on in '08? While they have to move to the center to win over the American people? Going far left sure aint winning elections.

Civil liberties? Some of these libs are so paranoid that the NeoCons want to use the Patriot Act to detain Democrats. They think Bush wants to wire-tap innocent people just so he can make sure they have no connections to the DNC.

Gimme a break.

Wow. I thought bleeding heart libs like yourself want to present every side of the argument so things wil be fair.

You sound like one of those Communists trying to keep creationism/religion out of everything.

If the Dems lose this year and in '08, I'll be right. If they win this year, I'll be the first to admit I was wrong. Humility is something not everyone has.

I didn't know they represented all dems.

Quote:

Same could be said for creationists. I don't know many people who are fighting this issue who are opposed to equal face time. Obviously, you were one of the people who found no humor in the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Quote:
About the Japanese internment camps: you want to be a hypocrite or what? Your inane comment there alone supports the rights for the current terrorists that are detained.

What are you talking about? Of course these people should have rights within limit. Are you one of those people who think that the torture or humiliation is just a "frat joke" that was taken too seriously? Come on. Look if you are going to detain people for legitimate reasons, then fine, if not then why hold them? Keep in mind the reason the Japanese internment camp issue is moot is because it is the same as me bringing up Iran Contra to argue points about Iraq.

Quote:
And you want to justify abortion for overpopulation and lifestyle preference?

as I said previously: "I agree that abortion shouldn't be an excuse for unadulterated sexual exploits, but it should be legal to help those who really need it, or who cannot handle the financial burdens of having a baby." Simple. Of course. Why would I want someone who barely can feed 3 children to have another child? I don't see the current administration helping out the situation. Healthcare? HA! Minimum wage? HA! In the respect of this situation, sure abortion would be a logical choice. The problem is, no one (me included) knows what we'll do until we are faced with the situation. To judge or agree with it just seems odd.

A woamn gives birth twins, but can only afford to support one.

This is the same logic given when gay marriage is brought up. "Oh but if we legalize gay marriage, then it'll be anarchy! People will be marrying pets! They'll be marrying staplers! Oh the agony!"

I suppose you have an issue with gay marriage as well? Or global warming?

Well, i believe in basic human rights even if you don't. But think about it this way. Who defines who is a terrorist and who isn't? Rights are a safety net, so that the government cannot accuse anyone of being a terrorist and do what they will to that person.
