well...
of course my valentine is blue milk.. but today in school, of course everyone gets their presents then. every girl in school, pretty much, was carrying around flowers and balloons and candy today, and i wasn't. i got sort of sad, because i tried to hint that i wanted flowers. i've only gotten them once, when i was in the hospital for the second time.. but i didn't get them this morning.
i went throughout the day, having a semi-bitter holiday, but i wasn't going to let some flowers ruin my day because i had plans to go to dinner with blue milk and i was very happy and grateful for that.
anyways, i went to his house around 5:15 so he could drive us to dinner, and what do you know.. i walk out to his car and on the passengers seat there is a bouquet of roses and sunflowers, two heart shaped boxes of candy, a small stuffed animal and a balloon.
it was the cutest thing in the world.
then he treated me to dinner.
shrimp, mmmmmmm

it was shocking. i didn't expect it!

Man, I got the biggest thing of balloons, chocolate-covered strawberries, etc. at work today. And the best part, all of the guys who work with me found it before I did, out with the receptionist. Truly hilarious.

On Sunday, my son and I made a Valentines Card, cut and paste construction paper, butterflies, dragonflies, flowers, an airplane, and dots all on a big heart for Mama.

my boyfriend didn't go to his class. surprised me by calling me to tell me to come to his place, where he had spent all day making an elaborate, from-scratch dinner for us. it was amazing now we're going to watch movies and drink wine.

The co-worker (and I use the term "worker" extremely loosely) that has been giving me ulcers tendered her resignation today! Hurrah!

My mentally challenged friend painted me a Valentine. Last week he reminded me that Tuesday was Valentine's Day and that I could buy him a Heart Shaped Box of chocolates!

Oh the world would be a happier place if we could all be so honest about our expectations.

He kept walking up to people and putting his arm around my shoulder and saying, "I love this girl!" Couldn't have asked for a nicer VD! :D

well, i got a call earlier this afternoon from a familiar yet unknown female voice asking what i was doing in the evening. then, as a joke, i asked, "is this my secret admirer?" and she replied, "yes." i said i wasn't planning on anything and she hung up. when i got home from running errands later, a girl that i'd met online many months ago was sitting on my couch. and we made dinner.
