because I have nothing better to do.

--My boredom has reached monumental levels.
--I am currently addicted to fortune cookies and cacao.
--Valentine's Day= Bah Humbug.
--I sang a Weezer song during the karaoke portion of my troupe's dance party last night. I added my request to the at least 12 others ahead of me, and immediately went to the bathroom. While sitting on the toilet, I hear my song start. Of course.
--My right eyelid has been twitching on and off for about a week now, and it's starting to drive me loony.
--I need a haircut.
--I wish my cat would quit crapping on the floor next to the litter box.
--I want it to be warm.
--I heart NetFlix.
--My dad was supposed to send me a box of potato chips 2 weeks ago, and I haven't gotten them yet. I need my fix!

Enough about me. More about you!

It was so warm here today, it was nearly 70.
My dad's driving down to visit me, and he's bringing me Lou Malnati's pizza. I can't wait!

I'm watching Sin City and I'm about to have my first beer. And I'm off tomorrow.

  • While I don't want to be super busy at work, I don't like it when it gets so slow that you've got no excuse for finally doing the things you've been desperately avoiding in the hopes that they'll go away.
  • I'm on my 5th and 6th Oreos of the evening
  • The Talking Heads remasters got released individually today. I will take a fling on Remain in Light, but I suspect the dearth of bonus stuff and the DualDisc-itude may not make it worth picking up too many of the others.
  • The snack machine at work has health Twinkies--yellow, Twinkie-shaped things with yogurt filling. What. Is. The. Fucking. Point?
  • Every postcard I've ever though about sending to PostSecret is too self-centered.
  • I wish I'd been home yesterday when all the icicles were falling off the house.
  • If I lived somewhere where I could see the Aurora Borealis, I don't imagine I would ever get tired of it.
  • Are they using too much reverb on the new Belle & Sebastian? Their stuff is usually so dry sounding.
  • +1

haha, well actually... What I meant was.. Well.. my biological mother and I don't even speak anymore. Two summers ago I attempted to force her into a relationship with me, causing the twitch. Needless to say "we broke up" and we aren't speaking anymore.
I am going to try to milk some money out of her for college. After all, I did come out of her vagina therefore she should help me through college.

The goat. I don't even know why we went to buy it. It was pouring raining, the poor goat stood outside all alone in their backyard, crying. I felt really bad for it. It shit in the back of the car. We named him Abner.
I don't know if it was a he or she, but I do know the poor goat ran away a few days after its arrival in Henrico County.

my property transactions professor just said - "jesus christ people - why don't one of you answer?"

it went from 60 degrees and sunny to 30 degrees and snow in one day.

Phil, you need a fucking daytime talk show where you lead the band, then fix problems for good people sitting on a couch--and after the commercial break--crepes!

The second batch of TH remaster-DualDiscs came out today. The first four albums were out a month ago. I hate DualDiscs, but I bought all four the day they came out a month ago. My birthday is in two weeks, and the remaining four are on that list (because nothing else I want is available locally, and everyone's too slow to order online . . . ) Yes, you need RiL at least, but I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest picking up all four from that first batch. They are that friggin' amazing.

I meant to address this above, but forgot, but now I am:

I am in the middle of an extreme lull at work - nothing to do, 8 hours a day, every day, for weeks, puncuated occasionally by some very, very small jobs. Man, when I was younger, I thought it would be great to get paid to do nothing. WRONG! It's boring and sucks ass. There are only so many websites you can visit, especially when your company uses Websense and randomly blocks things like Gmail - one day it might work, the next, gone! 8 hours of sitting, reading forums, etc. gets mighty boring after a day or two.

-Just watched a film on climbing in Yosemite. I realized two things: I can't wait for climbing season, and I need to start working out more heavily.

-I love dark chocolate. I had some 78% pure tonight. Highest purity I've had is in the 80s.

-The eggplant sandwich I had for dinner made me realize I need to learn how to cook such a great veggie.

-I've finished 2 books in about a week. I need to select a new one to start before bed.

-My rabbit is crazy.

-If I could be anywhere right now it would be with my fiancee.

-I was in a Ween mood this weekend, I'm not sure what I'm in the mood for right now.

-Spanish Peaks Nut Brown Ale is good.

-Tomorrow I have my intern.

I'm resurrecting this from yesterday because, once again, I have nothing better to do.

-- My boredome is still monumental, but hasn't diminished or expanded in any way since last night.
-- I don't know how to do 'bullet points'.
-- I think I may go get a haircut tomorrow. A fancy one at that, at a real salon. No Great Clips BS for me, thank you!
-- My cat crapped on my floor again today, even though I just cleaned the litter box last night before I went to bed.
-- I watched 'Murderball' tonight with the guy I'm 'hanging out' with.
-- I'm irritated by this so-called "hanging out" phase, and am thinking of cutting it off.
-- I feel that Prince of Darkness and I share many of the same uh, for lack of a better word, issues. (going on what he wrote here last night).
-- The best way for me to describe my current mood is that I am a study in mediocrity.
-- I am drinking a tasty beverage. Three Philosophers. Goodness in a glass.
-- I may take a bath tonight.

I bet you guys love this. Oh well. Mope with me, dammit! :)

• I bought some sweet new clothes tonight and might do the "after shopping fashion show"
• My chihuahua is snoring something fierce
• I am stuck at a crossroads
• My bedroom is a mess and I have very little desire to clean it
• I'm proud of myself for fixing my favorite pair of pajama pants
• I am in a "repeat a couple of songs over and over" rut
• I don't want to be a Vermonter anymore
• A bath sounds fantastic, but my bathtub sucks
• My tidbits are cold (hands and feet, people)
• I cannot wait for flip flop weather
• I think I'll bring the Princess Bride, Spaceballs and Super Troopers to work tomorrow; yay portable DVD players

-Roger Van Der Weyden's "Deposition" is amazing
-I love Goodwill
-Tomorrow is the last day of Cooper Union work. Meaning, no more anxiety, thank god.
-I'm sick. I skipped my last class and slept for 3 hours, and two to follow a hot bath.
-I skipped 3rd period and went to the record store today, but my mom knew about it. I had too good of a day for it to end well. :(
-This Side of Paradise is growing on me
-I felt like I looked nice today. I don't feel that way too often.
-Hooray for Flemish art.

SP, I think we are twins separated at birth.

(except for the Vermonter part... I've never been a Vermonter).

You know, I always felt that I should have a sister.

The Vermonter thing is cool for a while. I mean, I get to tell people about "real" maple syrup and stuff, but the more I think about it the more I like the 'I used to live in Vermont' line.
