Laughter, pain, tears, broken glass, spilt drinks, and a sooner than later FEM to FEMGAR: BLOOR'S COMIN TO TOWN!!

The only thing I can think of to do aside from the massive drinking, is visit Hank Williams, Sr's grave. We'll try to postpixkthx of that momentous occasion, but other than that, who knows.

Maybe we'll tie one of our neighbors to a tree and play "Hurricane"

I have been threatening FEMGAR with Edward Fortyhands all week...

SHENANIGANS, to be sure.

If I had any kind of 'closing' game, I might not be posting this early....but true to self, this is gonna be a drawn out process....sigh

I think it was my three consecutive 127 games, that got her going. I'm all about consistency.

Today: Sit at home and write a review for a manuscript. Play lots of music because no one else is around. Start on some new wines I picked up and try my hand at fusilli with wild mushroom cream sauce later on. I feel like watching 'Boogie Nights' tonight, so coke and porn are definitely on the menu.

Tomorrow: Picked up the dvds of 24 (season 2), so I'll probably take those in and keep Winefest February 2006 going strong.

I'll be:

. continuing to pre-Spring clean my house and rid it of a lot of my mom's useless stuff. Wanna come to my yard sale in a couple of weeks?
. buy and instlall new locks for the house
. visit my mom and dad
. shop for new photo frames and other assorted stuff
. write and send out 'thank you' cards
. shop for a new TV stand and bookcase -- Ikea will be visited, then again, I just might hit up Craigslist for secondhand stuff.

I'm opening for B.B. King tonight at HOB. Tomorrow I'm off. Sunday at The Majestic opening for Incognito. President's Day, back in Chicago at HOB again opening for Incognito.

Then it's back to work.

Tonight: Taking Amtrak from Chicago to Milwaukee to hang out with my special lady friend.

Tomorrow: Driving to MN from Milwaukee with the aforementioned girl to attend a friend's 30th birthday Party.

Sunday: Hating life, hungover, driving 5 hours from Minneapolis to Milwaukee, getting on a train and riding another 2 hours from Milwaukee to my place in Chicago. Ugh!

Do you bowl in a league? If so, Thursday night is the same night my wife and I do our league - I was so pissed at myself last night - had a 233 in the final game and didn't have an open frame at all until the 10th when i left a 6-10. I knew it the moment it left my hand as well - HATE it when the only frame you open in is the 10th! grrrr

Going to the Ontario Science Centre with the honey to see a totally creepy exhibit: http://www.photojunkie.ca/archive/2005/ ... orlds-2-2/ (the real site for it seems to be down right now)

Apart from that I'll probably
- assemble Ikea furniture we just bought
- work on a website I'm making
- avoid cleaning up my room
- maybe meet up with friends for drinks tonight.
- hang with the honey

Zzzabout it.

I had to work at 6:00am this morning for the NIN/Moving Units move-in for the concert tonight. When I got here I discovered that a pump for one of our boilers failed and 3200 gallons of very hot water had filled our boiler room with ankle deep water and it was leaking out onto our exhibition hall floor.

Tomorrow I have to be to work by 7am for the Rascal Flatts/Blake Shelton move-in. After work I am going to see The Elected with Cocoon, Todd Fink of The Faint and Jake Bellows of Neva Dinova's side project. I plan on drinking alot tomorrow night.

Sunday I am going to lay around and enjoy my day off.

Well, I'm still recovering from last night... but I have a 3-day weekend (yay!)

Tonight: going to see WAX TAILOR (eff yes!!!!!), RJD2, ACEYALONE, BUSDRIVER. I think I might have to cut out early from that show (I'm only there for Wax Tailor anyway) and head to another show at the Echo.

Tomorrow: I really should start packing and throwing out stuff I don't need anymore (I'm such a packrat). Probably just lay mellow because I've been out every night this week.

Sunday: going dancing and seeing Derrick Carter, Heather, and DJ Sneak spin.

Monday: Relax, rest, recover.

I posted this in another thread but...

Me and my special lady friend are headed to this place for the weekend with Cap'N, FEMCap'N, and about 15 other people.

This is the second year in a row we've gone to a cabin for skiing. Cap'N thinks it's to celebrate his birthday but this year we're actually going to bury him in woods and then leave. I hope he doesn't read this.

What he said. Loading the gf into the truckster and heading down to Montgomery to see the Loogs.

Unless we get so bored or they kick us out Saturday---come back Sunday and watch the Daytona 500 and maybe a little bit of the NBA All Star Game. Recovery room at Jail General Hospital.

I also have a water leak to finish fixing. One of my walls is opened up and the carpet pulled up. The good thing about leaving town is now I dont have to think about it for a couple of days.

Apparently I now have two different friends visiting this weekend; one with his new baby girl (granparents are here), and the other is playing a show. Hum.
