What websites do you look at for album reviews, etc?

Besides Pitchfork, Allmusic, Billboard.. those are the 3 main ones I use but I need other websites that I can quote for this thing I'm working on at work. Doesn't have to necessarily be indie because these artists aren't indie.

And sorry if this has already been posted before, I'm far too lazy to search.

Thing about Amazon though, I need something that's not just a fan's review.

Argh I'm so braindead right now.

Speaking of multiple reviews, Metacritic is pretty handy, too.

even though, i wouldnt be surprised that some of the amazon reviews are phony, i'd prefer that over a general reviewer who maybe had to write 30 reviews before he went t press, or has an agenda, or was never a fan of the band to begin with..

at least if a actual fan is reviewing it, i can feel more comfortable with their thoughts.

Yeah, metacritic/music is reasonably comprehensive for releases from the past few years.

Or I do a search on ilx, etc.

OH THANK YOU. This is exactly what I was looking for. It shows the critic's reviews, which is what I needed.

I just forgot what the link was.

Hey, we might know the record here...I'm sure SOMEONE will give you a good review of whatever it is you're not mentioning.

Yeah I do the same for something I'M interested in, but right now I'm writing up a sheet for 4 artists on one of our labels so I need critic's quotes to show validity or whatever...

I doubt it. It's something on the Simple Plan / Dashboard Confessional tip... Not fun.
