i was in an office that was playing the local "maroon 5" pop station yesterday and a song came on that sounded a lot like "lady madonna" but was most defininately a new band. if you've heard it you know what song i'm talking about because it's way more shamelessly beatles-y than anything i've heard on the radio in a long time. any ideas who the band is?

I like Jet.

I don't care if they're too derrivitive. They have more than a couple songs that rock and they're fun to listen to. Good solid party music.

I'm not so sold on their ballads though.

Hey, if you don't have a copy of their CD, you can have mine. It's one of the few thing I've got in the past few years that did nothing for me. I really thought I'd like some of it, but it didn't happen.

"Look What You've Done" is "In My Life" if it were completely off-key and if more than just Ringo had no vocal range. Nothing wrong with the song, but it's not good singing.
