I'm a fan of Bode. His career has been filled with DNFs and DQs, mostly because he skis with a total disregard for playing it safe, so why would the Olympics be any different? I've got nothing but respect for the guy.

Bode may not be living up to the hype, but after watching him do that one-legged acrobatic maneuver over the weekend... how many other skiers would have stayed upright? Just sayin'.

I watched the hockey stuff over the weekend. It's not fun watching pros play in the Olympics. I wish they'd go back to amateurs only.

I can't say I disagree with this. I guess I'm holding Bode responsible for the hype, which was really not of his own creation, so I shall redirect my ire toward the media. Boo, media!!!
