Leftover spicy ribs and mashed garlic potatoes. Tomorrow is a half day here at the office, and there is always A LOT of xmas goodies to snack on. Lunch is, therefore, taken care of.

water. i don't get to eat lunch much these days - usually not enough in the cabinet, and not enough time to make anything, and not enough money to buy lunch.

It was the office lunch today.

We went to a Chinese placed called, rather bizarrely 'Bon Appetite'.

I had Prawn Cocktail for starter, Sweet and Sour Canton Chicken for the main course and Ice Cream for dessert.

The head waiter only had one ear. Apparently he got the other one hacked off by the Triads over gambling debts. It's a bit off really. You don't want to see a guy with no ear and just a hole in the side of his head when you're having your dinner. He should have to wear a false ear while in view of diners.

Where were your great ideas in the other thread?

I do work downtown.
I work over at Chicago and Sangamon (Where the metra crosses near milwaukee) I'm going to go over to the blue line and take that out 2 stops to Ashland where the K-Mart is.

Went to Mark Pi's Chinese and ordered General Tso's Chicken.

I should have gotten a white russian, too. What a great idea.

Oh. I thought you worked in the building right next to me for some reason. That must've been F'n'b.

UPDATE: I just found out that during my lunch hour (that I was going to spend in a conference room with other IT folks, looking at pictures from a guy's recent tour of Europe), my boss is also going to get us wine, cheese and crackers and then let us go home early. Maybe lunch isn't so bad after all!

Beef tenderloin with 'shrooms, onions and fettucine in a mustard cream sauce from Rams Head Tavern. Not what I expected from the description, but it was pretty badass.

K-MART SUCKS

they didn't have the batting glove for my brother, didn't even have a golf glove I could get him instead

They also didn't even have any pretzels. The ones in the case are plastic and I would have had to wait 3 minutes for some so I just got some Little Caesars crazy bread....:(
