Funny that an indie rock album would get me out of an anti-indie rock rut (temporarily).

Stream Destroyer's Rubies

RIYL: Cat Stevens/David Bowie/Marianne Faithfull doing off-kilter indie rock that isn't afraid of the F-bomb and saying "shit" with disdain.

You can actually stream a bunch of good stuff at Merge's site: http://mergerecords.com/# (bottom, middle)

Also, this page updates weekly: http://music.guide.real.com/lounge (currently has The Subways and Clearlake, among others)

This site has a few full albums as well, and also updates regularly: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/guide/ (currently has the new Cat Power and Belle & Sebastian, among others)
