My guess is they only heard 50 albums last year.

Sorry if I misled you. It was a Feb/ March issue, with the previous issue, Dec/Jan, naturally coming out too early to list the best of 2005. All the issues I have received have been early or right on time (so far), MUCH better than CMJ had been.
