i finally got my hands on the betty harris compilation "the lost soul queen." but i noticed it has a different version of "nearer to you" than the one i had previously tracked down on soulseek. i've been trying to find out if someone else covered the song, or if she recorded multiple versions, but info is scarce and it's driving me crazy. can anybody shed some light on the subject? here is the soulseek version.
