Started off the day with:

Crooked Fingers - Dignity and Shame

coming out in early 2005. oh and it's good.

Good like the first two albums or good like the third one? I much prefered the first two.

I'm pretty biased, shmoo. He could put out anything and i'd dig it. It is different than the first two. Those have a lot of guitar picking and dust ups about drunks and down and outers. Plus, I think it was just him on those albums. Now Crooked Fingers is a pretty tight 4/5 piece. He's added a female voice to a few songs too, in duet style. There is a lot of piano on this one. Mostly on the ballads. The last song on the album and title track is a little number with just a piano and Eric crooning along. It's really beautiful.

So I hope I'm selling it even though it's not like his first two albums. It's out either Jan. 22 or Feb 22. I've seen both dates thrown around different sites.

Pretty sure it's 2/22, since that's a Tuesday and 1/22 is a Saturday.

And I'm finding this surprisingly revelatory:

Got Volumes 1 & 2, Senator. We'll have to pull the trigger on another trade in the new year. You interested in some alternate mix Japanese bootlegs of Exile On Main Street and Let It Bleed (including out-takes and rarities)?
