Obner meet-up before the show?

There's Mo's Cucina and Mo's Irish Pub adjacent and across from the Riverside, respectively; plus, there's a Potbelly's vis-a-vis the venue.

Don't know... It could be hot. Think about it.

i'm down for that. and since i'm driving red, she's down for it too. i can't speak for the others.

i wasn't quick enough. that thing sold out in like three days. would i rather walk six blocks for a show than drive an hour and change? yeah, but there're like 3 other solid shows in chicago that night, so i'm not too upset about it.

well, i saw them last night and i thought they were amazingly good -- that is, sans neko. the sound was pristine. i felt that kathryn calder did as well as she possibly could -- since i didn't get to see what the guys did on american idol last night (a current guilty pleasure), i felt that she was auditioning to impress me and that she did. unfortunately, she fell a little flat while singing "mass romantic," but the band was just so tight that it didn't matter. i was so excited when they finished the encore with "all for spinning you around" -- my favorite song of theirs!

i don't think a lot of people realize how much kathryn calder contributed to the n.p.'s sound on the last album. she and neko have a similar voice, style-wise. looking forward to seeing them sometime... i've only seen ac newman's solo act.

I just saw them last night with the new girl and no Neko and, if I were blindfolded, I probably wouldn't have known.

She sounds like she should be Neko's younger sister or something.
